Jan's Dance Studio Inc. is located in Chatham, Illinois off Route 4, just minutes from Springfield. We offer dance education for children aged 18 months and up in ballet, jazz, tumbling, hip-hop, tap, lyrical, and pointe.
Our instructors are certified through Chicago and Southern Association of Dance Masters. On staff we have a Unverisity Dance Professor, past Broadway dancer, past professional company dancer, three classroom teachers and several BFA dance minors. JDS has been in business for 30 years and in that time we have developed a comprehensive dance program that has produced numerous dancers that have gone on to dance professionally on cruise ships, at Disney, on Broadway and in Dance Companies.
We believe that dance training and performance build self-confidence, teach discipline and encourage creative thinking. We are dedicated to giving each student the best Fine Arts education possible. We feel blessed to have devoted our lives to teaching our future!
Our dance instructors are members of Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, as well as Southern Association of Dance Masters, or have benefited from continuing education at CNADM or SADM workshops.
